Samsung has officially started rolling out the One UI 8 update based on Android 16 for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). Only the 2024 Model Gets the Update

The original Galaxy Tab S6 Lite stopped at Android 13/One UI 5, and the 2022 version did not go beyond Android 14/One UI 6. So, this new rollout is exclusive to the latest 2024 model.

If you own the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024), you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If it doesn’t appear immediately, try checking again after a few hours or wait for the automatic update notification from Samsung.
