Samsung is taking its Galaxy AI experience to the next level — and this time, it’s all about breaking language barriers. The company has officially added Filipino and Gujarati to its Galaxy AI suite, expanding its global language support to a total of 22 languages.
Filipino and Gujarati Join the AI Revolution
With this update, Samsung brings accessibility to millions of new users. Filipino, spoken by nearly 87 million people, and Gujarati, spoken by 62.5 million, are now part of the Galaxy AI ecosystem. Together, Galaxy AI tools can now assist in languages spoken by an incredible 5.9 billion people worldwide.
Smarter Tools, Wider Reach
These languages will work across Galaxy AI’s top features — including Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Transcript Assist, Note Assist, and Browsing Assist. Users can easily download their preferred language packs from the Settings app and start using them instantly.
Powered by Local Research and Innovation
Samsung says the addition of these two languages was made possible through collaboration with its Samsung Research centers in Indonesia and India — ensuring local accuracy and cultural understanding.
The Bottom Line
With 22 supported languages, Samsung Galaxy AI continues to set a new benchmark for global accessibility, making smart communication easier and more inclusive than ever before.
